Kia Autosport Supports The Fight Against Breast Cancer

In 2009, an estimated 192,370 women in the United States were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and about 40,610 women were expected to die from the disease.

Breast Cancer is a disease that Kia Autosport is dedicated to fighting. We, as a family, are showing our support in several ways. I urge all of our dedicated readers to take a second and join us however you can.

All of our employees are wearing pink ribbons in an effort to show our support in the smallest way, but we know there is so much more we are capable of doing...

For the entire month of October, Kia Autosport will donate $50.00 to the American Cancer Society for every new or used Kia sold. Our goal is to sell 100 cars and write a check for $5,000! Melanie has informed me that when we make that goal, we will DOUBLE the amount. LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

We are partnering with Cumulus Broadcasting all month to fight breast cancer. We are hosting an event on October 23rd that we hope to see everyone at! I'll blog again with more details on how to get involved, so i hope to see all of our family members there. Rumor has it, we'll have some goodies to give away!

Breast Cancer has effected all of us in some way, so for that reason, Kia Autosport knows just how important this fight is. We'd love to see ya'll help too!

And remember, breast cancer does not just affect women; In 2009, about 1,910 men in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer. If this is not a worthy cause, I do not know what is!
