Kia AutoSport Employees Raise Money for The Amerian Cancer Society
On Saturday April 17, 2009 the employees of KIA AutoSport came together to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
To raise money we cooked out and painted faces, but the highlight of the day was our dunking booth. The dunking booth featured Melanie Lee and the entire sales staff. Customers had the opportunity to come by and dunk their favorite sales person.
Fellow employees couldn't pass up the chance to dunk the Parts and Service Managers either. Fully clothed; Doug Hughes, Kelly Facer, and Ron Angelotti took their dunks like champs in the booth.
We were even able to convince a member of our office staff, the former Miss Madison County, to take her throne above the dunking pool. We raised $129 just for Kristin alone.
All together Saturday was a festive day where we raised money for a great cause. The customer and employee participation was outstanding.
The American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life helps raise money for research, detection, prevention, and patient services. Every year more than a million people are diagnosed with cancer. Also, one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. KIA AutoSport is happy to be able to raise money for this great cause.
If you would like to walk with the KIA AutoSport team or make a donation to the Relay for Life please contact Susan Schrier at 850-576-2116 for more information.
Thanks to everyone for your participation and we look forward to our next event!
